There are many high schools in Sydney that require academic assessment testing to be completed before a student is considered for acceptance and enrolment. At Rubix Learning, our accomplished tutors can help students prepare for their year 7 selective school assessments.
Our tutors can assist students in the following areas, but are not limited to:
- English: reading, writing techniques, spelling and grammar.
- Mathematics: all topics from geometry through to algebra.
- Exam tips
Each student will receive a resource folder when they begin their tutoring sessions, which will include past exam papers and answers, study guide sheets and exam tips. Students will be given homework after their sessions, unless otherwise specified by parents.
Our tutors can adapt to the student’s needs by going through the content at a speed that suits them. If the student is struggling with concepts, the tutor can slow things down to ensure the student has more time to understand; or if the student is excelling, the tutor can organise sessions to be more fast paced. Progress exams will be given to students to track how they are travelling with their content, and identify if there are any areas that should be revisited.
