At Rubix Learning, we have a team of accomplished tutors who can help students who are studying Economics in their preliminary and HSC years of high school. Economics can be daunting for many students, though we are here to help build confidence when taking exams and assist with understanding course content. Our Economics tutors can help students who are at various academic levels with different goals!
For our online Economics tutoring sessions, we use Google Meet or Zoom to ensure the session is as interactive as possible. These video chat platforms ensure we can use a virtual whiteboard, and both students and tutors can interact by sharing their screen to make the processes of online tutoring the same as face-to-face sessions!
We stick to the school syllabus and cover concepts in the same order that they learn it at school, to keep their learning consistent. Our Economics tutors can help you or your child excel in the following subject topics, or any others that you feel you may need guidance in:
- Introduction to economics
- Consumers and business
- Markets
- Labour markets
- Financial markets
- Government in the economy
- The global economy
- Australia’s place in the global economy
- Economic issues, economic policies and management
Students will be provided with a resource folder once they begin their tutoring sessions, which will include Economics past exam papers, sample exam questions and answers, study guide sheets and exam guides and tips. Our tutors utilise past exam papers with their students as it will help students understand the formatting for their exams at school.
Homework will be given to students at the end of their tutoring sessions, unless advised otherwise by parents. Progress exams will be given to students once they have finished covering a topic with their tutor, to understand if there are any areas that should be revisited.
Our Economics tutors will go at a speed that suits the student. They can slow down if the student is struggling, or they can move at a faster pace if the student is excelling in their content.
